ENGLISH MAN’S RING, 16TH CENTURY, SIZE 10 ½ 3/1/22 Gilt bronze Size 12 ½Gilt bronze, size 10 with 2. 7mm flat band flaring to the decorated shoulders which flank the central motif of a rose on hatched ground. The rose is six petaled while the Tudor rose in traditionally 5, suggesting a concession to symmetry or perhaps a more sinister implication. Surface textured from burial and professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
