Willie Evan Roberts was born in Llanddeiniolen, Caernarvonshire, in 1897, and enlisted in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers at Llanberis. Posted to France with the 1st Battalion, he was killed in action on 27 August 1916 and is buried at Caterpillar Valley Cemetery, Longueval, France. Sold with copied research.
