A very desirable and brilliantly designed folding chair, with superb form and patina. It is marked underneath: "US American Seating Co Grand Rapids Mich" This chair is made from the American Seating Company in Michigan, from plywood or birch with metal struts and dates from the 1930s 40s made for the American military during WW2 and built to last.
