The London Mug - Wedgwood Category_sale Peter Hone’s plaster casts ofA rare mug made by Wedgwood in 1966. The designer is Victor Skellern. 'When a man is tired of London he is tired of Life' quote by Samuel Johnson (1709 1784) on one side of the mug and on the reverse a poem titled 'Westminster Bridge' by William Wordsworth from 1802. The mug is made of Queen's ware cream coloured earthenware with a clear glaze. The decoration is applied as a lithograph. Excellent condition for its age. Dimensions: 12. 3 cm high. 9.
